Description
Very active and peaceful schooling fish that needs a lot of free swimming space in the middle of the aquarium. On the sides and background you can set up the aquarium with a few plants.
Food
The fish is omnivorous. You should give them a great variety of live, frozen and dry food.
Breeding
Breeding is very easy. The aquarium should be set up with very much plants and a spawning grid. You should put the fishes in the aquarium late in the evening. The next morning they spawn up to 500 eggs. After spawning the parents should be removed. The eggs hatch after 2 days and 5 days later the young fishes are swimming free. You can feed them with very fine infusoria. They grow very quick.
